Micro media is a very great place to manage this.

Nick Cannon- what's the benefit?
WE all with you the best, but even Oprah was kinda wondering.
I think Nick wants to be married and settled down, he reminds me of Will Smith,
Jada is his 3rd wife. We can only judge Cannon and Carey by what we know for them
is only from the media.
WE are not sure what is going on with them. Branding says they are unpredictable
I am waiting for the next thing.
I think they were quiet because they had already sold PEOPLE magazine
the pics
I wish them the best but I hope she doesnt do any more movies!

twitter and why you should be there
You see, twitter is not just for you to post but for you to read other people's posts.
One person I am following is writing a novel. Some truly smart and funny people like The Blogstress and CGriffin always have something funny and cool say. Some big names are on twitter but mostly its only their IT people. Like, I am pretty sure Obama is not really twittering. But his computer person is.
Some personal friends are on twitter- but not the ones with jobs because, they cant afford to get caught.
Zappos is on twitter and gave away shoes to people who followed, it was a great PR move.
So why be on twitter?-- communication, The change to be in front of more eyeballs,
I learn a lot from Wayne Sutton about techy stuff, and get live updates from New Media Jim, both are reporters so I got to see some inside stuff from when the POPE was here and Obama's speech in NC.
They stand in line, get wet and do all the dirty work, I just sit in my home office watching and enjoying.
Follow me on twitter- I post Publicity info and how people are usuing twitter for PR!~

QUICK-CHECK CHATTERING MONKEYS EXERCISE
Consider the following points as you contemplate what to do in a no-win trap dilemma, or a situation that could develop into one:
1. Consider your issues. Pick the one you’re most committed to following through on all the way this time.
2. What ways can you deal with it? Think of at least three. That will help you see you have options.
3. What is the best that could happen? Play your thoughts all the way out in your mind.
4. What is the worst that could happen? The worst almost never happens, but it helps you to consider contingencies. Concerning present and future “worst case scenarios,” the key point is to remain open to help and input, especially in those moments when you’re sure nothing will work.
5. Is there some person or service you can consult? Make good use of outside input. Remember that the final decision is up to you.
6. Consider your overall plan to resolve the situation, while making allowance for contingencies and feedback from others. Remember, what you ultimately think is what counts.
7. Decide if you’ll act now, later, or do nothing. Sometimes just standing back for a while is the best thing.
8. Calm your mind with positive self-statements such as, “I can deal calmly and effectively with the consequences of this decision.”
9. Surround yourself with supportive people and organizations that can help provide structure while you make changes and move on to new things in life. Create a list of names and phone numbers of people you can call upon.
Once you’ve gone through all the above nine steps, decide what you’ll focus on next, beyond your no-win trap dilemma, and keep that focus as much as possible. Dwelling on your problems all the time can often do more harm than good. Do all that you can do then let some help and answers come to you. In the long run, what really counts is the inner belief that you’ll find an effective and positive way to get through and out of your situation.
Step 4: Have the philosophy, “Nip your problems in the bud before they nip you in yours”. - After going through the “Quick-Check Chattering Monkeys Exercise, consider what number on the self-rating scale of 5 to 1 you are on concerning you various matters.
If something has bothered you over 48 hours, make a pact with yourself to do something about it. Make a point of taking the necessary steps on as high a number as you can, so the effort it takes to deal with each matter isn’t as much as it would be if your number is down to a “1”.
Step 5: Take a moment out to appreciate something about yourself and/or those around you right in this space of time. Make a point of doing this every day. (I’m presently developing a habit of doing it “on the hour”, even if it’s to myself and I’m in the middle of something. No one even has to know.) Every time you appreciate yourself and others, it’s like smelling flowers along the way. The more you take moments of time out, (and longer periods of time too!), to enjoy and appreciate it all, the more life will seem to fall into place. Also, you will more and more experience “living in the flow”, even if “today” doesn’t seem to be going so well.
I remember someone telling me that at one particular time in her life, she and her family had gone through a great ordeal in having to move around a lot. She was never really sure about where she would be living next. However, her mother made a point of always have a vase with some sort of fresh flowers in it to look at. This woman told me she learned to know she was “at home” when she had fresh flowers, and makes a point of having them in her own home now as often as she can.
More inner and outer peace to you! Let me know how it’s going!

King's Duma Key
It was long and great reading, of course towards the end a lot of stuff happened but some of the mystery was solved a little before the end. so the last chapter or so , I kinda was not interested in reading it.
or maybe I was tired of reading it, I am not sure. As a movie, not looking forward to it as much as CELL ( that would be a great movie!) but you never know what a good film maker will make out of Stephen King's work.
It did make me wish I could spend my entire summer at a beach house.
I need to make that a goal for 2009 or 2010.
Where do you want to spend your summer?

passion about your business
Even word or mouth advertising costs to get started. That is how product placements and sponsorships come in. You if you have no money to start or get your business going, then your job at this point is to get money for the business. You can get business credit or credit lines. But you have to get money.

Good Luck Chuch of TV
The Good Luck Chuck of TV
I have become the Good Luck Chuck of Television. In the Movie “Good Luck Chuck”, women would meet and marry the man of their dreams after just one date with Chuck.
People just like you are making some incredible leaps from The Wright Place TV Show to the Today Show, Montell Williams, The Tony Danza Show, the Oscar gift bag, and being in Sophora Stores and Target Stores. The last shows we taped had some wonderful guests. They were networking in the green room and one guest actually made $1,200 cold cash while waiting in the green room to go on the show!
Entrepreneurs: If you’re good at promoting yourself and promotion on TV will grow your business, then get info on being a guest for May 2008.

A lot of people do a Podcast or radio show interviews and want to know how to maximized it. Publicity is supposed to help us make money but how to you make money from the interviews you have already done? You remember what they gurus say- work once and make money over and over again from it.
I've taught a a lot about the need to do Podcasts and internet interviews but most folks do not understand what to do next. There are some specific thing you need to do to make a simple Podcast interview increase your cash flow. I'll share that on the next note.

Bloomberg is waiting for what??
This note is to give kudos where kudos are due.
Congrats to Alex Tinsman, she was on Montell Williams, it aired recently. She was on this show first! Congrats to Dr. Stan Fine. He was a guest on the audio Podcast and has used it to book more interviews. Jeannie Fitzsimmons also gave a great interview on our Podcast. You can find all past podcasts here
The tickets for the High Tea are on sale now. A few of you asked if you can mail a check for your ticket. Yes you can, the mailing address is on the contact page. Your check must arrive before April 10th in order to secure a ticket. No tickets are sold at the door. Think Well is confirmed to attend. I am very excited about having you all learn what they are doing. Seating is extremely limited, so if you are thinking about it, get your seat now!
Thank you to those who responded with QUESTIONS for my guest about Toxic people. Michelle J., Belinda, Linda , Janet, Amy, David Cohen, Emily, Dr. Fine, Tina, Tracey and Sandra. Your questions will be asked on air and that show will be posted online. We tape on Tuesday.
Quick tip- Mayor Bloomberg 'lost' his weekly radio show. I am wondering why he just doesn't go online? Any radio station that wishes to air his comments can put it on and it reduce the cost to tax payers. He can do it online or over the phone, so it would reduce his travel cost. Online can do so much for all of us. I always wonder why people do not use it more. Usually, because they do not know about it.
By not communicating with his audience regularly, he risks the perception that he does not care about them. The very people who voted him in, will stop supporting him.
If you want to get out there, promote what you are doing, and leverage my audience, contact me at 909-635-2040

I am Quitting the Newsletter!
I was thinking about my newsletter and wondering if people really have time to read all the newsletters they sign up for. I want to give you information you need and want without overwhelming you. You already have enough on your plate!
So I am going to try this new way. It's posted on the web, you can read it whenever you want. I'll just send you a note when we have a new post. Will that work for you?
One thing I have learned. When you are working with a strategy and the outcome you want is not happening, after a while you need to try a new strategy.
Its at www.wrightplacetv.com/notes.htm
Every quarter I look at one aspect of my business that is not working the way I would like and then work on changing it. That is what they mean when they say, work ON your business not IN your business. You do not always need a consultant to come into your business and help you improve. Sometimes you just need a little time to work on what does not work. Do not work harder with the strategy that does not work, change. Change your strategy.
So, tell me what you are going to work on to change?

Do You know who to help?
The Good News First”
This year the Wright Place TV Show will pick 2 nonprofit organizations to support with media exposure and cash to help them do what they do best. This will happen at our 6th Annual Invitation -Only
Event in April.
The Bad news;
I don’t know exactly who to help. Ever since I lost my dog, I have been going to shelters to check and see if she was turned in there. It’s heart breaking to see all those lost and unwanted pets. I read articles about vets who come home from the war sick and wind up homeless. That is a terrible way to treat those who risk their lives for our country. I watch TV ( I bet you didn’t know that) and see homeless kids who don’t know what pajamas are and foster kids who are homeless the day they turn 18 because the ‘AGE-OUT’ of the system. My family support Literacy with the Bob Lucas Library and Literacy Center in Altadena, California.
I am a little overwhelmed at who we can best help, so I would love your input.
Visit www.wrightplacetv.com/tea.htm and tell me who really deserves our support this year!

Calico, in partnership with the American Civil War Society, invite you to come and witness historic presentations, troop inspections, artillery demonstrations, period fashion shows, military battles, and much more! Battles will occur daily at 11:45 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Before the battles begin, watch as General Grant and President Lincoln inspect their troops. After the battle is over, you can find President Lincoln reading The Gettysburg Address in central Calico. If the battles are too loud for your little ones, make sure to stop by the children’s social or the craft project booth.
Calico is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. Saturday and Sunday admission to the event is $10.00 for adults, $5.00 for youth (6-15), and free for children 5 and under. Join us on Monday for a special enhanced weekend price of $10 per car load, $5 for motorcycles with two riders, and $3 for motorcycles with one rider.
Make sure to join us in Calico over President’s Day Weekend as this Civil War reenactment weekend truly spotlights the reality of camp life and transports you back to the 19th Century. Imagine yourself under martial law in a town occupied by the Confederate army. Suddenly a cannon blasts, smoke fills the air, and a hundred Union soldiers come rushing in. Before you can turn to run, a battle is raging before your very eyes.
